A modern gallery-style barn
A historic barn with a modern, gallery-style interior and a garden all of its own. Open plan living upstairs, with a woodburner for the winter, or throw the doors open in the summer and enjoy the garden and views beyond. Two bedrooms downstairs, both with modern en-suites. One can be a twin or a double, the other has a super-kingsize bed.
An upside-down Devon barn
An 'upside down' Devon barn with a vast, beamed living space upstairs including a modern kitchen and a woodburner. Downstairs there are two cosy bedrooms, both en suite. One can be made as a twin or a superking, the other has a super-kingsize bed and plenty of room to add a cot if needed.
A warm welcome awaits you when you arrive at Chantry. We have been welcoming people here since 2011 and love how many have returned year after year. We have a smallholding with chickens, geese, goats, and a flock of very friendly and inquisitive sheep. The orchard we planted when we arrived is now bearing wonderful fruit and the 6000 trees we planted in 2023 are taking off. There's plenty to explore right here on our land and from the footpaths leading from it. Chantry is a peaceful place with good starry skies at night and birdsong in the day.
We have a little 'lending library' of toys, games, books and DVDs, there's a croquet set and a vast flat(ish!) lawn. We provide crisp white bedlinen, fluffy towels and the kitchens are fully equipped. Cots and high chairs available on request.
